These were essentially unsuccessful black and white photos. The three of the chairs are too clean and commercially aesthetic but together make an impact I couldn’t completely ignore. Having received two more rolls of film from the practice sessions, I have compiled twenty eight images of Port Sunlight Lyceum Brass Band. These are the images I will go on to use in a book later in the year, combined with images of the band in concert and uniform.

I met a man named Michael at the Lyceum building in the village, in a room probably adjacent to where the brass band play.
